What Youll Do:

Quark is looking for a VP of Product Development and thought leader to lead a development team in our India Office.You will inspire and motivate a team of high performing software engineers at Quark. This is a highly visible role that plays an important and proactive part in many aspects of the India Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate is one who has worked in a mature startup-like environment, wants to be a difference maker and keen to deliver continuous improvement based on internal and external best practices, while adherence to standard process and policy. Key deliverable include:

• Scale the India Center of excellence organization in accordance with Quarks growth trajectory.
• Recruit, develop and retain a high performing contemporary India team.
• As the senior executive in India, motivate, enhance, and create a winning culture.

Responsibilities:

• Strategies & think about the future technologies for internal Quark Products.
• Lead and manage the engineering/development department.
• Manage software development cycle on multiple products.
• Work with product management to come up with delightful experiences for customers.
• Manage architectural road-map and be responsible for applications and services being delivered.
• Manage product documentation, third party integrations.
• Deliver Real-time metrics and monitoring dashboards.
• Handle/Solve development problems yourself and with your team.

What were looking for:

• Bachelor or Masters in computer science from Premier Institute.
• 18 - 25 years software development experience & strong design skills.
• Strong experience in SaaS Product/ marketing technology space. Experience in enterprise content delivery with the last role being VP or Director, managing min 20 developers and built SaaS based products for large enterprise /commercial customers is a plus.
• 15+ years of people management experience in software development and focus on quality and on time metrics.
• Strong programming skills in latest technologies & languages such as Front-end technologies, C, C++, Core Java, Python, cloud, Artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

• Strong Product UI experience and strong experience in developing customer friendly SaaSPlatforms. Strong experience in managing UI designing and managing UI developers.
• Platforms that scale and need to be easy to use for designers, content authors, sales and marketing teams. Simple deployments and use cases for Consumer/ SMB/Commercial and large Enterprise customers that integrate and scale.
• Must have experience on successfully implemented development KPI metric focused - on time and quality.
• Must have successfully launched and created SaaS product offering preferable in content management vertical.

• Strong computer science fundamentals. Strong writing skills and verbal communication
• Experience developing high-quality products/applications at Global standards.
• Strong cloud development experience.
