We are looking for Scala Leadwith one of the largest teams of Functional Programming and Fast data engineers focused on creating customized high performance solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Skills Set :

Development skills and experience in Scala language is a must.

Experienced with distributed computing and Big data distributed environment development.

Should be highly experienced with Apache Spark/Lagom and should have optimization experience in Apache Spark/Lagom.

RDBMS experience with Postgres/MySQL.

Should have knowledge of Parquet, AVRO, JSON, AWS S3.

Must have experience in designing relevant data models that deal with high data velocity and/or volume.

Should have experience with Apache Kafka.

Having experience in consuming data from web-services (REST in JSON/XML format) and having knowledge of exposing web-services will be considered a plus.

Experience with Apache NiFi is considered a plus.

Experience with Databricks Notebook/Zeppelin is considered a plus.

Should be familiar with modern software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.

Knowledge of GIT is mandatory.

Capability to handle multitask and prioritize to ensure timely delivery with good team management skills

Candidates should have a positive attitude with high energy, initiative, enthusiasm and persistence.

Qualifications:

• MCA/BTech/BE in computer science, information systems, or similar technical fields would be preferred.
