You will join our IT Asset Management Services department

As our new IT Client Infrastructure Specialist, you will be part of the software services team which consist of 2 colleagues and an outsourced service. The team delivers software packages and client services to all of Rambolls employees as a global service,

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

To administer all aspects of large desktop infrastructure in a professional environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: inventory management, automated software deployment and updates, configuring installation scripts, MSI packaging, security patches, desktop security configuration, and all other aspects of workstation management. You will also be responsible for the administration of third-party applications such as malware prevention, web filtering and endpoint protection.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Assist technical staff with troubleshooting desktop software and hardware issues across the teams in IT Operations
  • Nomad and Shopping
  • Knowledge about Powershell/XML, and optional PSAppDeployToolkit
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Certification
  • Software Packaging Experience using Orca, InstallShield etc.
  • Experience with complementary Technologies (e.g. VMware, Service NOW, Citrix)
  • Experience with administering Engineering Applications (e.g. Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI)

  • Experience in Scripting Deployments in PowerShell, MSI, CMD and VBS delivered via System Center Configuration Manager
  • In depth knowledge on Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager CB experience:
    • Software Updates
    • Package and Application Deployments
    • Query writing, Reports and Data gathering
    • App-V, MSIX
  • Experience with Administering and Maintaining Software Licenses - FlexLM, FlexNET, HASP, CodeMeter etc.
  • Experienced in Software Installation Troubleshooting (Windows 10 x64 and Windows 7 x64, Via SCCM Deployments)
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with SoftwareCentral is preferred
