Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Assisting in Company s litigations pending before various Courts, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT); Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Facilitation Council (MSME); Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT); Arbitration Tribunal Labour Court; Statutory Authorities and High Courts;
  • Diligently monitor and maintain the updates of cases in MIS Report. Reporting the case status to GC & CCO;
  • Handling Civil, Criminal, Labour, Recovery, Negotiable Instrument, Insurance, Arbitration, Motor Accident and Environmental Matters;
  • Briefing cases to counsel(s) along with supporting documents / correspondence / information pertaining to issues. Diligently follow-up with Counsel. Performing end to end support for execution, filing and completion of all legal formalities before and after deals are concluded;
  • Visit to court / tribunal / authorities office time to time to attend the proceedings including counsel s offices and outstation court. Ensure proper timely filing / defending the matter; review and maintain appropriate document / correspondence / evidences / records of each case up to the date, execution of court order, settlement in recovery matters and handling routine emails / inter office notes to update the management for their inputs;
  • Taking steps for filing police complaint / FIR as and when required. Assist in liaison / negotiate with vendors, government authorities and bank officials (as case may be) to resolve or settle the issues out of court;
  • Drafting reply to notices received from Vendors / Government Authorities. Drafting recovery notices U/s. 138 matter, NCLT or legal notices, preparing para wise comment on plaint, proof reading of plaint/written statement shared by counsel before filing etc.;
  • Doing legal research, analyses on legal risk involve in the company s case/issues and intimate the same to management for taking appropriate steps;
  • Drafting and reviewing of contracts, non-disclosure agreement, letter of intent, lease deed, sale deed, and settlement agreement ensure proper execution, implementation including renewal of contract and termination of contract (if any);
  • Reviewing and vetting of Agreements, performance bank guarantees, indemnity to be received from vendors / dealers and contractors including reviewing purchase / work order along with standard terms & conditions to be issued to vendors / contractors;
