Roles and Responsibilities

Role: Manager - Logistics & EXIM

Location: Corporate Office, Gachibowli, Hyderabad

Experience & Skill Set :

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• To procure the services from the Freight forwarders at the optimistic cost for carrying the cargo worldwide.
• Taking timely decision on mode of transportation (Sea or Air) to comply with production team.
• Following with FF to get complete the export formalities to ship our consignment to meet schedule.
• Coordinating with FF/3PL for timely moment of cargo to meet production schedule.
• Selecting the FF basis of service, schedule along with cost for adhoc consignments.
• Tracking the consignment which are in in transit to avoid last minute rush on any schedule changes.
• Upon arrival instructing the FF to get the bonding completed for earliest clearance.
• Monitoring the consolidation of cargo with TCT China and Europe for sea consignments to meet the complete CBM for TFT.

Inbound Logistics:

Out Bound Logistics:

• Basis on Project team requirement, coordinating with WH team and Tax team for packing and documentation needs respectively.
• Calling of quotation from various FF and finalizing along with sourcing basis of schedule and rates.
• Supporting NCR team for import and Exports. (Repair and Return)

Customs Clearance:

• Securing the proper shipping documentation from FF/Supplier for prompt clearance of Customs
• Take all necessary steps to clear the shipment within 24 hrs. of arrival
• In case of FCL. take appropriates step to clear the container by DPD or CFS clearance.
• Lining up, FF, CHA and transporter to get the consignment OTD.
• Following Custom Duty Payment for BoE filed.
• If required, initiate the custom bonding of cargo for getting duty benefits.

Domestic Transportation.(Road, Rail and Air):

• Arranging transportation for all Ex-works supplies from Supplier to Site.
• Planning appropriate vehicle placement based on the dimension of cargo.
• Following the transporter for timely placement of the vehicle.
• Tracking the vehicle enroute for timely arrival at site.
• Ensuring proper lashing, covering and vehicle condition used for transportation.
• For adhoc shipments, instructing vendor to bring by Rail and Air with 24 hrs of Pickup.
