A challenging opportunity awaits a seasoned Chartered Accountant to assume the pivotal role of General Manager (Finance) & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on contract for a prominent complex in Baroda.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 25 years of comprehensive experience, with 13 to 15 years at a senior level in Public Limited companies. In this critical position, the CFO will function as a compliance officer, ensuring meticulous financial oversight, timely preparation of financial statements, adherence to SEBI and stock exchange regulations, and compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
The strategic focus of the role encompasses driving financial and investment strategies, corporate fundraising initiatives, and optimizing cash flow. Effective leadership skills are paramount, including exceptional communication, planning, organizational, budgeting, monitoring, decision-making, and team management capabilities. The CFO will report directly to the Managing Director, overseeing finance personnel and trusts, with prior experience in SAP considered highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing relationships with Banks (Domestic & Foreign) and Financial Institutions.
Demonstrating a working knowledge of long-term contracts with customers and suppliers, incorporating relevant clauses impacting financials.
Overseeing Balance Sheets in Public Ltd. companies with a track record of 10-15 years.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO role.
Leading and managing a team of 25+ members effectively.
Expertise in Joint Ventures (JVs), IPOs, and managing dealings ranging from 2000-3000 crores.
Proven fundraising experience, successfully raising funds in the range of 200-300 crores.
Proficiency in presenting to the board and senior management.
