Responsible for proper installation, maintenance and safe working of HEMM s and other machineries deployed at Mines

2.Shall see that the provision of the Mines Act and of the regulation and orders made relating to the installation, maintenance, operations or examination of machineries are properly carried out by him or by subordinates.

3.Shall if mechanics or other subordinate officials or competent persons are appointed for the purpose examine all reports, registers and other records relating to the installation, maintenance, operation or examination of machineries required to be made and shall countersign the same and date his signature.

4.Planning and execution of routine repairs of mining machineries, routine daily inspection of all equipments and machines, Preparation of preventive maintenance schedule and its implementation, Preparations of revenue budget for maintenance of machines and capital budget for major assemblies replacement, Ensuring availability of Mining Machineries for production

5.Responsible for Safety & Statutory compliances etc.
