The business intelligence analyst / Developer role is highly analytical and requires a balance of IT, communication and problem-solving skills. Business intelligence (BI) analysts transform data into insights that drive business value. Through use of data analytics, data visualization and data modeling techniques and technologies, BI analysts can identify trends that can help other departments, managers and executives make business decisions to modernize and improve processes in the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities. This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
? Building and publishing customized, interactive Tableau reports and dashboards
? Maintenance of existing Tableau dashboards
? Applying data visualization techniques for discovery and timely insights of data
? Developing reports and analytics using data from data warehouse using Excel, SQL, Tableau and other reporting/analytics tools
? Creating and Joining data and Calculations in Tableau from various data sources like SQL Server, Excel and Oracle/Cognos.
? Knowledge of IBM Cognos and SQL
Qualifications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. List knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently with little or no supervision
Expertise in Statistics, SQL, Tableau, and problem solving
Expertise in gathering, organizing, analyzing and visualizing data
Must be able to present information in the form of metrics, KPIs, reports, and dashboards
Must be able to perform quantitative and qualitative business analysis and Analyze current and historical data
Education and/or Experience. Include the education and/or experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.

Preferred - BE /Btech in computer science and experience in Tableau tool for minimum of two to three years
Preferred - Experience using Python in Tableau
