Job Summary

3-8 Years of hands-on Experience as a Teradata Developer.
Should have thorough understanding of Teradata Architecture.
Should have expertise working on queries and complex joins, tune the complex queries.
Understand requirements and convert them to Teradata scripts using complex SQLs.
Understanding of workload management on Teradata systems to minimize impact of mixed workloads, optimization of BTEQ/SQL Queries in a complex environment
Help establish processes, procedures, and best practices for writing SQLs.
Working knowledge of Unix and Shell scripting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Agile Software Development.
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Evaluate and improve existing Teradata systems
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
In depth knowledge of data warehouse tools and technologies.
Experience with Data Mapping and Modelling
Experience with Data Analytics tools
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
