Data Analyst Job in Raveone Consultants (for Skilglobal)

Job Overview

A Data Analyst will be deployed full-time at the client location; he/she will be the critical person doing all project-related hands-on work at a client location; he / she will be documenting all the necessary reports, follow up internally with client employees to ensure the project progresses as per plan under the guidance of the senior consultant, He will play the role of data collection and analyst.

Current Location - Mandya, (Near Bangalore / Mysore), India.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Data reporting: Collect data and documents related to the projects and tasks assigned.

-Ensure data is collected as per the plan diligently.

-Ensure the Data is compiled at the end of the day in the required format in excel or software.

-Escalate the missing data or non-update to the concerned and initiate necessary steps.

-Prepare Presentation – Prepare all the data analysis, Presentation for the meetings, and Kaizen ready as instructed. Prepare weekly and monthly reports as per guidance.

-Plan and execute: Plan the day and execute all the tasks assigned by the senior consultant.

- Ensure 100% adherence to the plan.

- Escalate daily delays or challenges to clients and Senior consultants through email and calls.

- Use Project management software (ERP) to update project progress.

- Spend 75% of the work on projects at the shop floor or Gemba and 25% of work on documentation and support activities.

- Problem-solving tools: Learn and apply essential problem-solving tools as deemed by the project.

Key Skills

- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques like lean six sigma is preferable.

- Communication is good in spoken and written English and the local language as per the client's location.

- Ability to address a group of 20+ people in English or the local language.

- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Business email writing skills.

- Good knowledge of preparing PowerPoint presentations.

- Basic Aptitude to understand the logic of calculations of productivity such as OEE.

- Familiar with data archiving and sharing through one drive, g drive or other software.

- Passion for working on the shop floor full time among people and machines to study the process.

- Ability to quickly understand the concepts and adapt them.

- Ability to ask the right questions and seek answers diplomatically.

- Analytical mind – Ability to dive deep using data and facts to discover the root cause of the problem.

- Willing to Travel across locations to support senior consultants if need be.

Qualifications

Education level. - Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial engineering is preferable; other engineering graduates considered.
