Job Summary

Job responsibilities

  • Requisition management in Workday tool.
  • Sourcing of profiles through multiple sources.
  • Schedule and co-ordinate for interviews, Conduct HR interviews.
  • Salary negotiation & roll out offers.
  • Ensure smooth and streamlined hiring process by adhering to the recruitment & selection process at GR India.
  • Responsible for legal compliance and proceedings, Viz., initiate disciplinary actions on case to case basis, employee counselling, grievance handling, etc. Plan and implement
  • Ensure quarterly and annual roll out of R&R for Non-GEC.
  • Ensure/Assist in the events like Ayudha Pooja & Sports Day.
  • Ensure timely goal setting, performance evaluation and annual appraisal of non- exempt employees.
  • Ensure timely completion of employee training and confirmations.
  • Monitoring of employee benefits like, uniform, shoes, etc.
  • Create awareness among new employees (non-exempt) about the purpose and implementation of BCEC certification and ensure certification as per the prescribed format.
  • Statutory compliance under PF, ESI, Factories Act i.e.,
  • Approval of factory building/machinery layout as per Factories Act and local government.
  • Renewal and amendment of factory licence.
  • Contract labour regulation & abolition.
  • ESI and PF registration.
  • Driving/ follow up with Infrastructure & Maintenance department for
  • On-site emergency plan approval.
  • Pressure vessel testing certification.
  • Monthly returns including payment of subscriptions: Quarterly returns, Half yearly returns, Annual Returns
  • Issue address proof and salary certificate- NON-IDC exempt.
  • Uniforms, shoes, T-Shirt, Birthday cards distribution etc.
  • Working knowledge in deriving bilateral and tripartite settlement.
  • Partner with shop floor management to enforce discipline and maintaining healthy employee relations in the organization.
  • Responsible for establishing good employee relation in unionized work environment.
  • Employee counselling and Grievance handling in unionized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • MBA/MSW with 8 to 10 years of experience in unionized work environment.
