Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

Prepare final study reports, summary documents and other reports required for study documentation.

Has proven ability to interpret safety, efficacy and pharmacokinetic study data and write clear, concise, scientifically accurate reports.

Prepare literature searches, abstracts, posters, slide sets, manuscripts working from various data sources

Perform proof reading and quality control (QC) of deliverables to meet customer expectations.

Manage multiple projects at any given time along with tracking project milestones.

Obtain feedback from customers and implements customer management requirements.

Complies with and supports group's project management tool, standards, policies and initiatives.

Follow specifications for documentation, specifically good documentation practices.

Work closely in consultation with Regulatory, R&D sites, and global project teams.

Maintain records for all assigned projects in access-controlled folders.

Maintain audit, SOP, and training compliance.

Train and mentor new employees and fellow colleagues as and when required.

Ability to take-up and spearhead department and program-wide initiatives

  • Expertise in writing style guides (e.g., AMWA)
  • Forecast and plan writing projects in liaison with the study and project teams
  • Represent Medical Writing function at various forums

Perform additional tasks as assigned.
