Job Summary Job description:
We are looking for an experienced MySQL database administrator with upto 1years of experience in
same field. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the
MySQL instances in a replication environment setup. You will be responsible for upgrades,
backups and provisioning of MySQL database instances. Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration and upgrading of MySQL instance and related products /plugins.
  • Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
  • Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
  • Database performance tuning and monitoring.
  • Plan growth, scalability, storage management and changes (capacity planning).
  • Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
  • General technical troubleshooting and consultation to development teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL database system and related products / plugins.
  • Understanding of MySQL s underlying storage engines.
  • Experience with replication configuration in MySQL.
  • Knowledge of writing stored procedures and functions.
  • Knowledge of project management tools.
  • Exposure SQL/NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.
  • Sound communication skills and team work required.
  • Qualification B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / MCM / Graduate / Post Graduate in any Specialization.
Experience Required :

Minimum 2 Years
