Job Summary
Key Purpose of the Job:The Product Technical Specialist is responsible for providing pre-sales consulting services to prospective customers / channel partners. The role holder recommends appropriate technical solutions for prospects based on their requirements and specifications. Providing technical support to Business and sales group, designing and delivering technical training programs to customers / channel partners is critical to the role.Educational Qualification / Experience required:
- Graduate in any discipline (Engineering with CS/ IT preferred)
- Experience of around 3 to 5 years as a pre-sales consultant for Networking / Server / Storage products
- Should possess necessary technical certifications (for example, NATSP, NASP, NCSA, IBM CSS)
- Hands on experience in designing technical solutions / architecture (storage technology, data management, cloud storage services, software defined storage)
- Must have experience in troubleshooting and technical support
- Good communication skills and customer focus required
- Should be able to design and deliver technical training programs
