Software Engineer Job in Relx Group Plc

If you have some of the following: we would like to hear from you:

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java 8+ is required
• Experience with Spring Boot, web-services, Tomcat applications
• Java Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
• Experience in XML, JSON (JavaScript, HTML, and CSS a plus)
• Cloud experience (ideally AWS)
• Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines (ideally Jenkins)
• Git source code repository experience
• Ability to investigate problems and complete complex bug fixes
• Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components
• Strong experience working in Agile software environments (Scrum / Kanban)
• Strong experience with agile work management systems (JIRA preferred)
• Active experience leveraging collaboration wikis for documentation and knowledge sharing (Confluence preferred)
• Experience working as part of a larger, geographically dispersed team
• Good oral and written communications skills
