1. Experience preferably from renewable energy industry (wind, solar) in claims handling and settlement;
2. A thorough understanding of the finer aspects of the policy terms and conditions and understanding of all types of insurance policies such as IAR, FLOP, MLOP, BI, Marine, General Liability Insurance etc;
3. Ensures timely insurance of all assets of the company and timely renewal/ extension of policies;
4. Effectively handling of the claims registration, surveyor appointment, survey report (LOR), claims documentation, and discussion with broker, discussion with insurance company, for speedy settlement of claims;
5. Ensures timely liaising with internal and external teams to settle insurance claims;
6. Reviews each claim in detail and ensures there are no unjustified deductions;
7. Keep track of all the claims;
8. Hold regular meeting with concerned teams;
9. Responsible to demonstrate high level integrity, negotiation skills, self- motivation, flexible to work in complex situations.
