Job Summary Sports Video Producer: The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the global sports agenda and will work closely with the Television Sports desks in London, Washington DC and Mexico City. Responsibilities will include editing highlights from a variety of sporting events, producing high-quality agency and online sports news stories and write flawless shotlists and scripts in a timely manner. The position requires good news judgment and the ability to handle several stories simultaneously. Written English to a native standard is essential, as is experience and interest in news and current affairs. Willingness to be flexible on hours/shift patterns, including nightshift work if required. Strong story-telling and video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred). Written English to a native standard. Ability to work under pressure and at speed on breaking stories. Good news judgment. Ability to work as part of a team. Understanding of the sports industry and sports rights. As well as English, fluency in one or more other major languages. A track record of covering sports events or previous experience working as a sports producer. A track record of responding to breaking news. What's in it For You?
