Job Summary Job Description: We have urgent requirements for an experienced test automation based at our Chennai office, India.

Skills/Requirements

  • Good experience in manual and automated test environment.
  • Experience in automating test cases using Selenium WebDriver, Python, Ruby, Appium, JMeter or similar automated test tool or development language
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work under minimal supervision Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including Agile methodology.
  • Good working knowledge of any oriented programming language such as Java, Ruby or Python.
  • Possess experience in test planning, execution, tracking tool, preferably JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience with Git and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, GoCI, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Notice Period

  • An immediate joiner is preferred. However, the joining period can reasonably go up to 30days

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing functional and system level testing of products across multiple platforms to test various product features.
  • Understand application use cases and feature requirements
  • Serve as technical point of contact to engineering teams
  • Design and Develop Automated Test
  • Investigate test failures, log defects, and verify bug fixes
  • Identifying test gaps and opportunities to expand our test case coverage utilizing prior quality and testing experience
  • Establishing and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights
  • Working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborating with Software development teams to identify and resolve product defects in timely fashion

Education

  • Bachelor of Engineering, MCA, MSc
