Software Engineer (model-based Testing) Job in Robosoft Technologies

We are looking for an innovative Testing and Validation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in model-based testing, process implementation, and software validation, with expertise in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded systems. This role involves rigorous testing, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Perform Model-Based Testing (MBT) in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Execute test cases for unit testing, back-to-back testing, and integration testing using tools like WinAms, TaskingVX, and BTC Embedded Tester.
• Develop and maintain test specifications, functional specifications, and test cases based on requirements analysis.
• Ensure thorough test coverage by implementing MIL (Model-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), and PIL (Processor-in-the-Loop) testing.
• Evaluate software using unit testing tools like WinAms and perform static analysis.
• Execute manual testing for software validation and Implement test automation frameworks.
• Test, validate and troubleshoot AUTOSAR-based systems to adhere to industry standards.
• Identify, track, and resolve software defects during various phases of development and testing.
• Perform actual device testing for software developed using MBD (MIL, SIL, PIL).
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive test reports, defect logs, and documentation of testing activities.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Model-Based Testing.
• Hands-on experience of Testing using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow/WinAms/TaskingVX/BTC.
• Requirements analysis, functional specification document and test specification creation.
• Thorough knowledge of testing types: MIL, SIL, PIL.
• Knowledge / Experience in software QA, manual testing, tests automation.
• Software evaluation using unit test tool (WinAms).
• Back-to-back testing is essential for model-based development and can be streamlined with CoverageMaster winAMS.
• Performing static analysis, unit testing, and actual device testing of software developed by using MBD.
• Experience of working with Classic AUTOSAR.
