Job Description Summary:

Application Developer Salesforce (Pune)

Rocket Software is hiring a Salesforce Application Developer. This candidate is a member of the IT Business Applications team and will be responsible for developing and testing extensions, integrations, and new capabilities on the Salesforce CRM platform. The Developer will work with other members of the team in US and Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full Salesforce application lifecycle, from technical design to development, testing, deployment, and post go-live support
• Create and manage both declarative and code-based customizations leveraging workflow rules, process builder flows, Apex, and Visualforce
• Build and support data integrations using SOAP-based and REST-based web services
• Work independently on multiple projects against deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while consistently producing deliverables within agreed upon timelines
• Create and maintain technical and solution design documentation and test scripts

Required Skills:

• 6+ years experience developing on the Force.com platform leveraging Visualforce, Apex, SOQL
• Knowledge of the Salesforce data model and experience with Salesforce data management
• Experience working with HTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, Java, SOAP, REST, JSON, SQL, CSS
• Ability to design, code, test, debug, package and deploy quality, scalable and well documented solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Implementation and practical experience working on large Salesforce projects involving complex integration with other systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented development and relational databases
• Previous Salesforce CPQ experience preferred
• Hands-on experience in the migration from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Experience in an agile development environment
• Salesforce Developer certification(s) required
