Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a creative and talented Web Developer to help build our external front-end websites and intranet site. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a range of Web development technologies, with extensive experience with CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and PHP. Familiarity with Web graphical, browser, and cross-platform compatibility issues is important.As a Web Developer you will be joining our growing Digital Team. You will be responsible for working with designers and developers to deliver an efficient and effective web experience to our customers, partners, and visitors. You will work closely with other developers to build, review, test and deploy complex code using our Drupal environment.
Rocket Software deploys sites built on a responsive design. You should be comfortable working in this type of environment and have an understanding of how to develop code that works across all devices. You will need to be a detail-oriented individual who thoroughly writes, checks and tests code before deployment ensuring changes don t impact other developers and that pages load quickly.
- 5+ years of experience developing web sites in a business environment
- Experience with Drupal and complex PHP projects
- Experience adapting and developing themes for use in a CMS environment
- Experience working with responsive & adaptive design
- Ability to build automated tests (Behat experience a plus)
- Collaborate with web designers to ensure mockups and UI meet the needs of a responsive web design
- Proficient in behavior driven development (Behat, Kanban, Jenkins)
- Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, and Git
- Experience with web application firewalls and real-time monitoring
- Can communicate effectively between creative and technical departments
- Can manage multiple projects at one time can work with other departments and team members to ensure the work is done accurately and on time
- Familiar with Acquia tools and solutions (Acquia Cloud, Pipelines, Cloudflare)
- Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills
- Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, and Adobe Analytics are a plus
- Experience with ISO 27002 and OWASP security are a plus
