Job responsibilities Understand internally the clients Digital Platform, the clients cloud platform, and learn about the internal legacy databases systems. Support the analytics team in implementing data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and BI systems Re-engineer manual data flows to enable scaling and repeatable use Support the build of data streaming systems, write ETL scripts and code to make sure the ETL process performs optimally and build accessible data for analysis Requirements: Educational background University degree (Preferred, Field of Study: Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Degree) Job Requirements At least 5 years of experience in Software Development, preferably in the field of Database Management or Data Engineering Experience working with analytics teams in support them in creating the data pipeline. Experience working with legacy systems/databases (MS SQL, Oracle). Cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud) is a plus. Has a demonstrable understanding of how to expose data from systems (for example, through APIs), link data from multiple systems and deliver streaming services. Experience in AWS lambda, AWS API gateway Understands different tools and is able to compare between different data models. Able to reverse engineer a data model from a live system. Designs, writes and iterates code from prototype to production-ready. Understands security, accessibility and version control. Can use a range of coding tools and languages. Fluent in written and oral English. Ability to work in cross-functional and international networks. Skills Needed Data integration from several legacy and other databases (SQL, firebird) Experience in backend development (Java, C#, Python, SQL) Knowledge of Integration between visualization applications and backend Experience in AWS lambda, AWS API gateway (call lambda from internet), Kinesis, Kinesis Firehose (Applied in some projects) General Dockers knowledge Good to have AWS knowledge in DynamoDB and Glue
