Engagement Associates (Work from Home- For Person who is Retired or any other reason taken a career break)

Indicative Job Description:

• Review engagement terms
• Understanding client business and tax incidence
• Preparation of compliance calendar and approval from RSM
• Preparation of Client Servicing Note as per RSM template
• Data collation
• Preparation of correct and complete tax returns
• Review by RSM Supervisor
• Timely furnishing based on the agreed compliance formalities
• Keeping track of notices, assessments and appeals with tax authorities and informing RSM supervisor about the same
• Adherence to RSM SOP
• Submission of regular MIS
• Regular updating of knowledge and regulatory developments, participation in RSM workshops and training sessions.
• Independently / jointly handling GST tax assignments.
• Research on aspects/issues arising on GST.
• Preparing details / submissions for re-assessment & scrutiny assessment cases.
• Adhering to GST compliance timelines as per statute (assessments, filing of returns, etc.)
• Carrying out comprehensive GST incidence reviews.
• Perform GST reviews as part of Internal Audit engagements.
• Indirect Tax Compliance & Audit Services Compliance Services.
• Complete identified number of GST returns on a timely basis.
• Address all queries raised in respect of GST returns submitted and liaise with line Managers accordingly.
• Keeping up to date knowledge of All India Indirect Tax Acts, accounting standards, auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualification:

CA / MBA / CMA/ Graduates

Other Competencies:

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, Good in MS-Office

5 - 35 yrs
