Network & Server Admin Job in Rubico It Private Limited

A Network & Server Admin at Rubico will have an essential role in administering and managing the companys local area network and cloud-based hostings. This position will also require troubleshooting cloud hosting related technical issues, in addition to providing hardware and software support and solutions to employees as well as clients. It also requires a good understanding of the Linux environment.

Required Skills

• 1+ year experience in networking including LAN, WAN, Servers Management, Routers/Firewall Management, Hosting Servers, etc.
• Experience in Cloud hosting environment. Rackspace/Amazon environment with Good understanding and knowledge will be preferred.
• Candidate should be proficient in troubleshooting the OS and network related issues with good interpersonal communication skill and good presentation skill.
• Good understanding of routing, SQL databases & PHP installation as well as configuration.
• Thorough understanding of Linux, and MAC as well.
• Experience and knowledge on managing the Linux based hosting servers (Ex. Rackspace Cloud).
• Command line tools knowledge (ex. SSH).
• Code Repositories Management (Ex. Git).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot internet issues: Identify, investigate and resolve problems in the quickest way possible.
• Look after firewall, content filter. Setting up different ISPs through Firewall and Bandwidth Management.
• Manage Network users, websites by defining Profiles and Manage Backups.
• Resolves problems and provides support for computer/network systems.
• Handling all the server roles such as DNS, Print Server, Web Server, etc.
• Communicate with cloud hosting support for technical queries.
• Work on Hosting servers to create/update FTP entries and install new software/services.
