Job Summary
Front-End Engineer
A Front-End Engineer at Rubico will be an integral part of our development team as we work on the design, development, and maintenance of customized websites and related web applications. This position will also require an understanding of project requirements and specifications, good logical and troubleshooting skills and strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and should be creative.

- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3.
- Understanding of design & prototyping tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or wireframe tools (Mockups).
- Understanding of development tools like Adobe Dreamweaver and Sublime Text 2.
- Understanding of client side scripting languages like Javascript, jquery.
- Good communication, storyboarding and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, including demonstrated experience in designing data visualization and analytical interfaces or applications
- Experience with developing IA, wireframes, interaction design patterns, prototypes and style guides
- Understand the project by asking questions, requesting more information, identifying Challenges, and offering suggestions for improvements.
- Consult with PC (Project Coordinator) about the project challenge/concern.
- Follow the best practices for coding related to HTML/CSS and Javascript.
- Use right/current tool/plugin/CSS/HTML for the project and ensure Code Quality and update Code Review Checklist.
- Ensure that deliverables are error-free by utilizing project check sheets, Test Cases, and other tools.
- Provide demonstration to clients in sprint delivery meetings and deliver tasks to clients effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Server-side Javascript development (Node.js or Angular.js etc.)
