Job Summary

Position Title : Assistant Manager

Department : PPC

Education:

BE/Btech

Skills and Work Experience:

Commerce Graduate / Post Graduate Preferable (BE Mech).

Degree / Diploma in Materials Management.

Experience in relevant field / Our sized group.

Exposure to all PPC / Stores related activities.

Knowledge of Taxes, VAT, Excise, Legal requirements

Exposure to import export related activities.

Exposure for TS, TPM, 5S, Kaizen.

Good knowledge of SAP(Must)



Annual Salary:

As per industry norm

Responsibilities:

Organizing, Planning, Controlling, Classification & Materials Management activities of total stores.

Taking Inventory of total material and stock verification.

Receipt material, making necessary documents and follow up to vender quality for inspection.

Issue the material to production as per BOM and production target.

Preparing / monitor daily material shortage list and attaining daily shortage meeting with Production, Sourcing Head & Buyers. Help to achieve the production target.

Report to HOD & Sourcing regarding excess / shortage supply of material, problem related to part no, purchase order, discrepancies & damages of material.

Identify area for storing material along with tags on every location as per ABC analysis.

Handle and maintain proper records of scrap disposals.

Manage good house keeping.

Material cares preservation and issue as per FIFO and shelf life system, control of inventory, non-moving items and department wise Consumption report of consumable items.

Issuing the material to respective departments FIFO Systems.

To ensure Statutory and Regulatory requirements.

8 to 10 Years
