Job Summary

Hiring for Legal Assistant Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing various contracts (including content license, performance, technical and other trade related agreements) / communications covering a range of transactions based on strategy discussions, senior management input(s), and organizational need(s) & expectations in accordance with the applicable laws.
  • Advise the stakeholder(s) of the degree of legal risk associated with any communication(s) and contracts & the implications, representations and obligations of such contract.
  • Monitoring contracts, assuring accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments and moving forward with close-out, extension or renewal of contracts.
  • Develop a set of standard contracts for the company.
  • Initial planning, assessment, and strategic evaluation and taking appropriate legal recourse on case to case basis.
  • Represent the Company in dealings with outside legal counsels, government representatives and agencies, independent technical experts, court representatives, and others in the legal profession. Ensure timely filings, assisting and liaising with the counsels and/or police and briefing on the updates to the concerned stakeholder(s).
  • Keep abreast changes in the applicable laws and pinpoint implications of regulatory changes to the stakeholders.
  • Rendering support and assistance to other members by doing legal research.
  • Ensure timely compliance(s) required by Authority/ies for Broadband services and Cable TV services.
  • Custody Ensuring safe keeping of original documents and ease of access.
  • Online storage and managing MIS Sharing periodical MIS to keep stakeholders apprised and keep a track.

  • Good communication skills- written and oral skills.
  • Multi-tasking and excellent time management.
  • Ability to work in group as a team and comfortable working individually
  • Thorough knowledge of the subject.
  • Confidence and good interpersonal skills.
  • Detail conscious and quick learner.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office- i.e. Word, Excel etc
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

Experience:

  • 2-4 years

Education:

  • BA LLB with good grads.

Salary : 2.0-3.0(LPA)
