Job Summary This role is responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our client's customer base. This role will be responsible for generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business. This individual should be motivated customer sales personnel with experience and an entrepreneurial spirit.We are currently hiring an experienced salesperson who has good knowledge of writing Proposal / Costing/ Negotiations Knowledge of Web Applications, Mobile APP and Digital Marketing for logistics vertical.
Role & responsibilities
  • Prospecting & qualifying the particular companies based on their products & services, profits, employee strength etc. and generating prospectus leads from the assigned territory.
  • Supporting to marketing programs as needs such as creation & maintenance of mailing lists, invitations etc.
  • Ability to identify the key decision makers and develop long term relationship.
  • Pulls data from online sources like LinkedIn, Hoovers, Jigsaw & prosper websites as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations.
  • Analyzing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective.
  • Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
  • Grow revenue and relationships with existing customer base.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
  • Utilize inside sales knowledge.
  • Quote formal and spot bids.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers including follow up on concerns or other issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service failures.
  • Communicate customer problems to management.
  • Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes.
  • Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Business Development:
  • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and market analysis.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities.
