Cyber Security Analyst Job in Sage It

Mandatory check

Required Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in cloud infrastructures
• Knowledge of security investigation techniques, the rules of evidence capture and preservation
• Technical knowledge of Cloud hosted Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems and log monitoring, and issues surrounding these deployments
• Knowledge of firewall rules and changes required to ensure containment of events to allow safe investigation/remediation
• Desirable -experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
• Strong verbal and written social skills

• Investigate and remediate events/alerts using our SIEM and associated tooling
• Analyze, investigate, escalate, contain and assist in remediation of critical information security incidents
• Improve and challenge existing processes and procedures in a very agile and fast moving information security environment
• Monitor and develop SIEM Cloud data into actionable alerts/events/dashboards for action/response by analysts
• Identify and document containment and remediation efforts which successfully reduces risk to Micro Focus
• Participate in project work, sometimes acting as project lead
