Job Summary

This is a very promising assignment. The incumbent in this role will have the opportunity to evolve himself/herself to the best in the evolving practices of the Power Distribution Utilities around DATA enablement and predictability of the power infrastructure at the last mile.

This role has mixed blend of technology and commercial aspects of the business. Provides very good opportunity to learn to establish DATA practices arround the Testing activities in the SubStations.

The Role

We are looking for a young professioal to enable the business practices in the Power Distribution and renewables segment. The assignment is to Increase the usage of Testing practices at the last mile through different testing and monitoring activities. Establish various processes to assess the losses at different functions/components of the Substations.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to

Prepare testing solutions around different practices in the substation using different test and measurement Products/Solutions/Methods so as to assess the health of the components/functions at the Substation.

Research Power Distribution customers interms of their network, efficiency, operation, growth plan etc..

Prepare and document the solutioning story with appropriate value propositions for the customers.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience of having worked around the Testing practices and equipments in the Substations in Power Utility organisations.
  • Willingness to learn a must
  • Sales experience is NOT mandatory
  • Knowledge of Substation components, Equipments and Practices
  • Knowledge of testing equipments and practices used towards assessing health of Power Lines and Substaions
  • Must be a self-starter and an individual contributor
  • Must be hands on with MS Office tools ( MS Excel, Powerpoint, MS Word)
  • Discipline in reporting and communication
