Job Summary
Certification is a big plus Experience with deploying and supporting .NET based websites & Applications Application of best practices, disciplines and tools across the requisite ASP.NET technologies, including IIS, web services, directory services, security, Database, and networking infrastructure with a working understanding of Networking Principles, TCP/IP, .NET Framework and SQL Application of best practices, disciplines and tools across the requisite ASP.NET technologies, including IIS, web services, directory services, security, Database, and networking infrastructure with a working understanding of Networking Principles, TCP/IP, .NET Framework and SQL Knowledge on Site Minder authentication & integration Good to have .NET development skillset is an added advantage Ability to work as individual contributor Can connect with Business Stakeholders & understand the business
Role & Responsibilities:
- Configure IIS in Azure, Google Cloud and Local Server
- Configure IIS WebFarm
- Deploy different web apps, Web api, WCF service, Magento Sites, php etc. sites in different server
- Configured Authentication methods in IIS 7.0/7.5/8.0/8.5 to control access to the application
- Advance troubleshooting of network issues on server
- Routers, switches and firewall experience
- Required Knowledge on PowerShell scripting to automate website creation & maintenance
- Minimum 2 year of experience
Skill Requirement:
- Windows Administration preferably on Windows 2008, Windows 2008 r2, windows 2012, windows 2016, Windows 2016 r2
- Knowledge on PowerShell scripting to automate website creation & maintenance
- Advance windows OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Good knowledge of OS performance fine-tuning
- Patch management using WSUS
- Cross platform awareness
- Worked on DNS, DHCP and active directory
- Awareness of storage and multipath
- Advance Microsoft cluster configuration and troubleshooting
- Working on at least one monitoring tool
- Exchange installation, configuration, troubleshooting of day to day mail related issues and performance fine-tuning
- Worked on native backup tools and commercial backup software
- Advance IIS administration/trouble shooting and fine-tuning of service
- Hardware raid configuration and troubleshooting
- Cross platform awareness
- Good Knowledge of MSSQL and troubleshooting between OS and database
- NOC & Datacenter experience
- Strong knowledge on IIS Website setup, IP bindings, URL redirects, app pool recycling, HTTP response headers, output caching, compression, request filtering,Handler mappings, IPv4 restrictions, SSL certificates, virtual directories, session state persistence, web server farms
