Roles & responsibility - Lead Power Electronics projects for motor controller/ Charger/ DC-DC converter/Converter/Inverter design & development for EV application - Complete responsibility of HW design & development from requirements capturing to HW design & proto type development - HW design & development plan preparation using Microsoft project plan/ MS-Excel - Working closely with project managers to update HW progress status, risk & issues. - Working closely with cross functional team like SW, Mechanical, Validation, Functional safety - Competency & capability development for Power Electronics side. - Lead a team of engineers & mentoring them. Job requirement - Experience on complete product development lifecycle process - Good experience in Power electronics product design & development > 5 KW. - Power electronics architecture/design of High voltage AC-DC, DC-DC converter - High power Inverter design, converter topologies, switching methods & control, High voltage gate driver, Isolation design & High voltage protections. - Design ability in power circuits using MOSFET/IGBT/SiC-Mosfet and corresponding Gate drive requirements. - Design ability in magnetics design for high frequency transformer & Inductor - Knowledge of circuit analysis tools: pSpice & LT Spice simulations, WCA(Worst case analysis) - EMI/EMC design knowledge in product development - Experience of interfacing Sensors with control hardware (Voltage, Current, Speed) - Power circuit Test and Validation experience. Experience on preparing DVP plan. - Hardware debugging tools like lab meters, oscilloscopes, waveform generator, power supplies, function generators - Knowledge of EDA tools OrCad, PADS, Altium - Validation experience in EMI/EMC/ESD - Interaction with cross functional teams (PCB, Software, Mechanical) - Experience in the field of Electric Vehicle domain will be preferred - Knowledge of ISO26262-part 5 & FMEA/EMEDA process to enhance design will get advantage
