Job Summary About the Role ============= The role will handle all Operational, Financial & Sales activities for the organization at state level. The role will be responsible for both hands-on execution and timely management of tasks as well as providing strategic support to management and being the primary point of contact with customers and management team. Key Roles and Responsibilities ========================== Organise and control sales and operational activity at the state level. Must have prior experience of lead team, particularly sales and operations. Responsible for the local market intelligence, identify potential customers. Must have proven track record in dealing and maintain relations with shippers / CHA's, forwarders. Must apply innovative methods to obtain target results & optimize revenue, market share. Must have good network and relationships with the players in local market and surrounding areas. Advising the management on the market intelligence and on the business impact. Must be able to support all customer with any business feedback as required. Additional responsibilities would include managing overall port / ICD operations, coordinating with customs, rail operators, and maintain/update & review of customer records in ERP systems. Must-Have Requirements: ====================== Graduate/Postgraduate and have at least 10-12 years of relevant experience in managing a shipping agency branch. Must be result oriented individual Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Should be able to correspond and communicate with Principals and customers independently. Ability to work under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities. Pleasant personality.
