Job Summary
Qualification :
HSC/B.Sc/DMLT/MLT
- Enquiring patients about the diagnosis/Provisional diagnosis in respect to test requested during sample collection.
- To co-ordinate with the pathologist /Lab Incharge regarding the patients critical report.
- To participate for any camps, seminars, any patient educational activities as and when required
- To maintained required records for the department
- Daily reporting Number & name of outsource test to lab incharge to monitor TAT
- Acquire training on lab equipment
- Conduct Analysis and maintain record of analysis
- Report critical & urgent results as per the request of treating clinician . Maintain record of such reporting.
- Ensure correctness of results. In case of doubt, get back to lab incharge and take corrective action so that erroneous reports are avoided.
- Follow patient identification procedures and ensure that the samples received have all patient identifiers as required.
- Store samples received in good condition so that these are not deteriorated before tests are conducted.
