Job Summary
  • This position is responsible for driving all HR, IR & Administration operations related processes for SMTIPL PU - Mehsana. He acts to ensure that the guidelines / rules of SMTIPL PU Mehsana business are applied in all disciplines of his responsibility. He advises and supports the HR lead of operations in decisions regarding the management of WC, BC and 3rd party contract workmen in the unit.
  • Hire to Retire [Plan and action the recruitment activities for the unit / project requirements which includes JR raise, search, recruitment, selection, joining, induction etc.]
  • He is responsible for industrial relations including preparations for supporting the HR lead for operations to negotiating agreements with Union / Associations / Works Committee on wage settlement, productivity, incentives, standing orders etc.
  • Ensure discipline actions in the unit.
  • Interacts and support shop floor managers to ensure the adherence of agreed settlement and monitoring of various incentives plans to vogue.
  • Follow up and monitor legal compliances, labour court matters for the unit.
  • Participate in charter of demand along with the HR lead of operations in preparations, negotiations and signing of the agreement.
  • Monitoring industrial climate of the neighbouring units
  • Implement HR policies & procedures for the unit in line with business plans & requirements, as well as SMTIPL HR policy.
  • Take responsibility to maintain the WD, Employee Master, Payroll Configurator.
  • Undertake responsibility to plant administration, liaison with government and nongovernment agencies.

  • To implement systems, metrics, processes and initiatives to build a performance driven organisation PMC, People Review etc.
