This position involves business operations management and delivering the responsibility of promoting Santane in Indian markets by liaising with clients from various business sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Brand Building and formulating business development strategies for company.
  • Launching of new business models and formulating business strategies in reaching out to the existing and
  • unexplored market segments for business expansion
  • Competitor mapping & analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and competitor moves to achieve market share metrics.
  • Conceptualizing & implementing plans & policies for the organization, organizing promotional campaigns and ensuring accomplishment of business goals
  • Major client handled includes Oil & Gas, EPC, Chemical, Fertilizer, Cements, FMCG, Food & Beverages,
  • Liaisoning, Coordination and interaction with different Central and State Govt. ministries & authorities for getting different types of clearances and NOCs for clients.
  • Compiling and finalizing various weekly/monthly MIS reports from regional offices pertaining to sales process and productivity.
  • Ensuring uniformity in the process understanding at the client s and the organization s end.
  • Delivering the agreed Budget for Indian Operations/ Business Unit for each financial year.
  • Business planning through production of a one-year tactical business plan demonstrating how the Budget will be achieved and a three-year strategic business plan, updated annually, addressing the future development of the Business Unit.
  • Co-ordination of business development activities to secure Budgeted Orders at appropriate profit margins and on acceptable commercial terms and conditions.
  • Business monitoring on a regular basis covering: forecasting (order intake, resource utilization etc.); project performance; work-in-progress and invoicing issues; collection of debts/payment of creditors.
  • Controlling the Business Unit overheads.
  • Ensuring that all projects undertaken within the Business Unit are performed in accordance with the Quality Management System, meet client expectations and meet proposed financial performance targets.
  • Taking the leading role in dealing with client complaints, commercial negotiations and resolving of commercial disputes.
  • Project Managing high profile, high risk or large scale contracts in accordance with the Santane's Project Management Requirements.
