Full Stack Developer (MEAN/MERN Stack)

PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES
This posting belongs to Application Innovation Services (AIS) organization under SAP.
AIS is a global organization within SAP and it supports the installed base of SAP products. At AIS it is our mission to deliver excellent maintenance, innovation and transformation services to our customers helping in their Digital Transformation.
With a view to accelerating cloud success, AIS started the Cloud Success Unit as many of our cloud applications are coming to a mature state where they need to be scaled for usage and scaled for technology. As a development specialist, you will be working on appealing products that use Scrum-based agile mode development and maintenance for SAP Cloud-based applications
THE ROLE

• Work as a full-stack expert to develop, maintain state-of-the-art cloud applications based on customer and business requirements
• Take ownership of feature delivery. Ensure all sign-off criteria (Quality, UX, Performance, etc.) are met before development close
• Inspire, encourage, support others and become a great team player
• Continuously enhance existing skills. Willingness to break out of my comfort zone.
• Not limited to MEAN/MERN Stack. Flexible to learn, adapt and work in any technology including Java
• Deliver a highly optimized, scalable & performant product
• Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues
• Deliver on support KPIs for internal/external customer issues

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Strong programming foundation in OOPS, data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems
• Micro Services development in a CI/CD environment
• Excellent Debugging skills, analyze root-cause and provide optimal solutions

Experience in
o Node.js (min 4 years)
o REST APIs with ExpressJS or NestJS
o Core Javascript (ES2016+)/Typescript
o Building scalable UIs using Angular (1.7+) Or any other competitive UI framework such as React
o Mongo Or any other productive DB
o Software testing, writing Unit & End2End test cases
Nice to have experience/knowledge in
o Java, Spring Boot

o Dockers, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines
o Secure software development and web security
o Cloud-based development using Cloud Foundry
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
BE/B. Tech/ME/M. Tech/MCA

WORK EXPERIENCE
5-7 years of experience as Full stack developer in Enterprise applications
