Summary:
SAP Ariba is the world s business commerce network. We help companies extend their business commerce processes into the Cloud, where they can use our Procurement solutions and the SAP Ariba Network to find opportunities to cut costs, reduce risk, and grow revenue through better collaboration with trading partners. The SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Product provides a platform to negotiate best-value sourcing agreements with suppliers, to provide sustainable savings and to simplify the Sourcing process. We are looking for experienced developers and senior developers to drive the design, architecture and implementation of next generation functionality of SAP Ariba s Source to Contract Strategy.
The Role:
Product development to build the next strategy for SAP Ariba Sourcing using Microservice architecture
Provide innovative and out-of-the box ideas to develop deep technical product.
Work closely with solution managers, architects, team members, technical leaders, user interaction designers, and QA engineers.
Presenting ideas for system improvements across the organization and building POCs using new technologies.
Interact with other stakeholders for requirement, design discussions and for adoption of new features
Role requirements:
Excellent understanding of Java, J2EE, Microservices and Cloud technologies
Proven experience of building a commercial product development environment.
Write design specifications, and subsequently implement and unit test the software
Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles
Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, change management principles
Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 3 to 10 years of experience in developing production grade software with strong knowledge of design topics.
