Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Web/UI programmer who will be responsible for taking care of the UI layer of e-Commerce software. You will also work in tandem with the application development team to design/develop/optimize UI layer of the application as per the application requirements. You will also be responsible for writing new functionality, upgrading existing behavior and fixing bugs over the time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The primary focus will be on design and develop world-class responsive web user interface of the enterprise application.
  • Develop enterprise solution with web and mobile interface
  • Participate in requirement and feasibility analysis
  • Document logical and physical designs review ideas with peers and present designs to the team for comments and suggestions.
  • Support quality development practices and pursue new and better ways to build software including the use of design patterns, test driven development, code reviews etc.
  • Contribute effectively to the Scrum process
  • Stay up to date with the technology trends in the industry.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in developing web applications with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Jquery/Ajax and JavaScript.
  • Experience in developing Web applications using modern PHP MVC frameworks
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript libraries, jQuery etc.
  • Good understanding of Web and Social Media applications/ Cross Browser / Mobile Best Practices
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Knowledge of Apache Server
  • Solid experience in understanding UI/UX designs and how to get them implemented.
  • Passionate about new technologies and large-scale systems.
  • Excellent understanding of Cross Browsers compatibility.
  • Ability to take up R&D activities and resolve issues.
  • Should have good written and oral communication and have experience in communicating with overseas clients directly.
