Job Title: Architect - Product Test

Job Summary

The Architect - Product Test will be responsible for developing and executing the Test Automation strategy across a wide range of domains such as Devices, Automotive, Medical Devices, and Telecom Infrastructure (both Wireless and Wired). This role will involve collaborating with project teams to capture and share best practices, providing insights on the latest tools and technologies, and identifying opportunities for new solutions in test automation. The person will also be responsible for designing and implementing scalable test automation architectures and frameworks tailored to the unique challenges of product engineering services. Additionally, they will analyze and evaluate different automation tools available in the market and work on proposals specifically targeted at test automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation Strategy & Design: Develop and execute test automation strategies across various domains, including Devices, Automotive, Medical Devices, and Telecom Infrastructure. Design scalable test automation architectures and frameworks suited to the product engineering services business.
• Collaboration & Best Practices: Work closely with project teams to share best practices and the latest tools and technologies in test automation. Identify opportunities for the development of new solutions and improvements in test automation processes.
• Tool Evaluation & Adoption: Analyze and evaluate various automation tools available in the market and recommend suitable tools for adoption by project teams.
• Proposal Development: Work on proposals targeted at test automation, identifying the scope, tools, and methodologies required to meet project needs.
• Effort Estimation: Establish a standardized mechanism for estimating efforts for different types of automation projects, ensuring accurate planning and execution.

Required Skills and Experience

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience:

• Prior development experience, preferably in the field of test automation or related domains.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python and Java.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTTP/HTML, PHP, and Microservices.
• Experience with popular automation frameworks like Robot Framework, Appium, Selenium, POSTMAN, RestAssured, etc.
• Knowledge of programming languages like C/C++.
• Familiarity with Automotive domains such as IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment), TCU (Telematics Control Unit), and related technologies.
• Experience with Android and 4G/5G technologies.
• Exposure to the latest AI/ML-based tools in automation.
