Business Development GM / Sr. Manager / Manager
Location: Delhi
Job Summary:
As a senior sales leader at Techmagnate, you will play a pivotal role in reinforcing our position as a leading Digital Marketing Agency while driving financial growth. You will define long-term strategic goals, build and maintain key client relationships, identify new business opportunities, negotiate and close deals, and stay well-informed on market trends. Your primary focus will be increasing sales by engaging new and existing clients, while working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional digital marketing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue potential clients for digital marketing services such as SEO, SMO, PPC, and more.
- Build, maintain, and leverage a strong network of contacts to ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities.
- Research client organizations, identify decision makers, and establish relationships.
- Arrange meetings and presentations with client decision makers and internal leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals addressing client needs.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to secure business.
- Overcome objections by clarifying and negotiating effectively.
- Maintain a professional image aligned with client expectations.
Client Retention:
- Promote new products and services to existing clients, strengthening relationships.
- Collaborate with technical and other internal teams to meet client needs.
- Conduct client debriefings and follow-up meetings.
Business Development Planning:
- Consult with mid and senior management on business trends to identify new service offerings.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through campaigns, services, and distribution channels.
- Differentiate Techmagnate s offerings by understanding competitors and market demands.
Management and Reporting:
- Provide weekly progress reports with accurate data entry into the CRM.
- Forecast and achieve sales targets both individually and for the team.
- Track and record account activity to support deal closure.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
- Mentor and train business development staff as needed.
- Understand company goals and continuously seek to improve performance.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree required; MBA/PGDBM in Sales & Marketing preferred but not mandatory.
- 7-10 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in digital marketing or related sectors.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong networking, prospecting, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Deep market knowledge and customer needs identification.
- Experience with sales planning, territory management, and CRM tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professionalism, motivation, and ability to meet sales goals consistently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
