Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule materials for BOF components and sub-contract suppliers.
• Production planning and scheduling to align with customer requirements.
• Monitor production credits and production backlogs to ensure seamless operations.
• Release supplier schedules with a firm one-month plan and tentative three-month forecast.
• Track and improve supplier delivery performance.
• Control DOH (Days on Hand) and inventory levels to stay within budget.
• Work to reduce premium freight costs.
• Monitor goods in transit and VMI stock.
• Ensure material availability as per SIL production plans.
• Daily review of production priorities and follow-up with suppliers to meet SIL production requirements.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 8 years in materials planning or procurement planning within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

• SAP MM Module expertise is essential.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Thorough understanding of procurement planning processes.

Communication:

Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
