Key Responsibilities
Quality Planning for NPD & Localization Projects
- Lead quality planning activities related to New Product Development (NPD) and localization projects.
- Manage claims and complaints related to NPD.
- Conduct requalification of child parts.
Process Quality & Non-Conformity Management
- Monitor and control process rejections for NPD, and drive corrective actions.
- Identify non-conformities and manage resolution according to Management Handbook (MH).
- Implement 4M changes in coordination with relevant teams.
Customer & Audit Management
- Support and participate in customer audits, ensuring timely closure of any actions arising from the audits.
Gauging & Process Monitoring
- Implement gauging requirements for NPD.
- Supervise production processes to ensure quality requirements are fully met.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead the implementation of Kaizens and Pokayoke solutions for NPD processes.
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or equivalent.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Management in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Core Quality Tools:
- APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
- 8D Problem Solving
- Control Plan
- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- QC Tools
- Knowledge of PEP Process (Product Engineering Process) is desirable.
