Key Responsibilities

Supplier Assessment & Approval

• Conduct assessment and initial approval of suppliers based on quality and technology standards at both global and regional levels.
• Provide guidance to local Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) to ensure smooth supplier onboarding and performance.

Supplier Strategy Development

• Collaborate with Category Management Professionals to develop and implement qualitative and technology-specific supplier strategies.
• Ensure alignment of supplier development plans with business objectives.

Supplier Quality Performance Improvement

• Drive reduction in supplier complaints through proactive monitoring, feedback, and corrective action implementation.
• Conduct supplier quality audits to assess performance and compliance with Schaeffler standards.

New Product & Process Development

• Work closely with suppliers on new product introduction and process development, ensuring quality and technology alignment from the start.

Supplier Selection & Approval

• Play a critical role in evaluating, selecting, and approving new suppliers to enhance Schaeffler s supply chain reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Education:

B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or equivalent.

Experience:

10+ years of relevant experience in supplier quality management, supply chain management, or quality assurance within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
