Key Responsibilities
- Lead Shop Floor Management (SFM) Meetings to drive operational excellence.
- Handle process-related challenges and initiate machine upgradation to enhance production efficiency.
- Own process parameter release to production, ensuring validation and adherence across all production lines.
- Develop new part programs and conduct feasibility studies for new projects, ensuring seamless integration into production.
- Drive proto sample builds for all product lines (CMC, CSC, HPP & Adapter) and prepare draft reports.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Lead output improvement initiatives for existing lines through process optimization.
- Deliver training programs for new program creation, especially for End-of-Line (EOL) and camera-checking machines.
- Focus on process improvement initiatives based on rejection analysis, in-process challenges, and customer complaints.
Qualifications
Education:
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience:
5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including leadership exposure, in production technology/process engineering, preferably within the automotive sector.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of production technologies, process validation, and machine operations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate between production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Experience in process improvements, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Exposure to new project feasibility, programming for new parts, and training facilitation.
- Proficient in handling customer complaints and driving corrective actions.
