Job Summary

Experience: 3 5 years

Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Agriculture

Job Purpose

  • To drive the territory sales targets
  • To promote brand awareness among farmers and traders in the assigned territory

Key Accountabilities

Fiscal Metrics Ensure all fiscal targets are met

  • Meet volume and NRV targets for the territory
  • Ensure territory sales collections are in line with established DSO policy

Salesand Service

  • Ensure efficient and prompt service and support request handling from the field
  • Engage with and provide support to end customers to maximise yield by ensuring efficient agronomy practices are communicated to them
  • Use relevant digital products, specifically targeting the order-to-cash and sample-to-sale processes

Sales Channel

  • Help in identification of channel partners by engaging with local business communities and performing due dilligence on potential channel partners
  • Maintain outstanding relationship with channel partners, including driving periodic retailer and distributor meetings

Support Marketing Activities

  • Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, product feedback from farmers and purchasing power of farmers for their territory
  • Drive and organise promotional campaigns and demand generation activities such as field days, harvest days, field visits and farmer training programs
  • Liaise with regional government agencies

Demand Generation Implement activities to maximise demand from the end customer

Plan and organise demand generation activities such as 1:1 meetings, village level meetings, mega farmer meeting and retailer and distributor training

New Growth Opportunities Actively seek opportunities to expand existing market

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing market by scouting for geographical areas in their territory with high potential
  • Collect, collate and present feedback from farmers to identify new product concepts that can be communicated to the marketing department
