The concept artist must be experienced in designing creatures, characters, environments, props, and FX studies for any type of animation projects. Work methods should include quick-sketching, clean line art, photo collaging and full painting. Besides a strong understanding of anatomy and perspective, the ideal candidate should also possess a solid grasp of the unique elements and distinctive visual styles for the projects.
