About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for sales to join our team. This role will involve visiting industries, generating leads, and managing sales activities in the assigned territories. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of measuring instruments, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Management & Client Visits:
    • Focus on planning and proactively visiting industries in the assigned territories (Ahmedabad, North Gujarat, and Saurashtra). Ensure full coverage of the territory to promote and sell products and solutions.
  • Lead Generation & Sales Target Achievement:
    • Take responsibility for generating leads and self-supporting sales efforts. Meet and exceed sales targets for the assigned territory, while ensuring that all activities are aligned with company goals.
  • Product Integration & Solution Selling:
    • Apart from promoting standard product solutions, strive to integrate various parameters to offer customized or complete package solutions to clients.
  • Project Execution:
    • Responsible for managing projects from the initial concept stage through to successful execution, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Customer Demonstrations & Presentations:
    • Plan daily visits and customer demonstrations to present the company s products and solutions. Provide technical advice and answer any customer queries during these visits.
  • Sales Funnel Management & Reporting:
    • Regularly analyze the sales funnel and weekly achievements. Maintain monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports to track sales performance and progress.
  • Travel Requirements:
    • This role requires 70% travel within the designated territories for client meetings, demonstrations, and project execution.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales Skills & Influence:
    • Excellent influencing and persuasion skills to secure business deals and foster strong client relationships.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical information to customers in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Technical Understanding:
    • Good technical understanding and knowledge of measuring instruments, with the ability to explain complex concepts to customers.
  • Self-Motivated & Driven:
    • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, with a proactive approach to sales and lead generation. A strong sense of perseverance and patience is required to overcome challenges.
  • Travel Readiness:
    • A willingness and ability to travel 70% of the time within the assigned territories.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Diploma / B.E. in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering, or B.Sc. + M.Sc. in Physics/Electronics.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales role, ideally in industries involving measuring instruments or technical solutions.
  • Location:
    • This role will be based in Ahmedabad, North Gujarat, and Saurashtra.
