Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation & Control (IC)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Dynamic and Result-Oriented Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Industrial Automation with a proven track record of booking sales and achieving targets in automation project sales, including DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers). Knowledge of IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things), Industry 4.0, and Digital Transformation will be highly appreciated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales of Industrial Automation Solutions:
- Focus on selling Automation Hardware & Software Products along with services within the assigned geographic territory (Vadodara / Bharuch).
- Lead Generation & Conversion:
- Generate leads through sales and marketing activities. Effectively convert potential leads into customers, ensuring business growth.
- Customer Presentations & Demonstrations:
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations at various levels of the customer s organization. Tailor presentations to meet customer needs and showcase the company's portfolio.
- Identify Customer Pain Points & Solutions:
- Understand customer pain points and recommend customized automation solutions to meet their unique requirements.
- New Customer Development:
- Focus on developing new customers, specifically in sectors like EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
- Project Selling (DCS & PLC):
- Work on selling automation solutions related to DCS & PLC systems, coordinating with OEMs and Process EPCs to execute projects.
- Industry Knowledge (IIOT, Industry 4.0, Digitization):
- Leverage your knowledge of IIOT, Industry 4.0, and Digital Transformation to sell automation solutions that help customers increase their profitability.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, managers, and C-level executives in customer organizations.
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Take ownership of sales targets related to DCS & PLC systems, and consistently meet or exceed sales goals through effective sales strategies and follow-ups.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- A minimum of 4-9 years of experience in Industrial Automation sales, specifically DCS and PLC. Proven experience in EPC & OEM project sales.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of PLC, VFD (Variable Frequency Drives), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and OEM systems.
- Industry Expertise:
- Familiarity with IIOT, Industry 4.0, and Digital Transformation trends in the industrial sector is highly desirable.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills:
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to understand and address customer needs with tailored automation solutions.
- Customer-Oriented Mindset:
- Ability to engage with customers at all levels, understand their challenges, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively deliver presentations, conduct meetings, and manage customer relationships.
- Problem-Solving:
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify challenges and recommend effective solutions that add value to the customer s business.
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation & Control (IC).
- Experience:
- Minimum 4-9 years of experience in Industrial Automation sales with a focus on DCS, PLC, and automation solutions.
