Job Summary
Responsible for applying ITIL knowledge structurally in IT services management and providing support to implementation- & service delivery issues. The application portfolio (Hosting, On Premise and Cloud) consists of a mix of SAP and non-SAP technologies (e.g. Workday, SAP Payroll ECC6). There are 300+ in/outbound interfaces (API, XI, Biztalk SSIS, Control-M, File Mover, e-Filing). This role will be responsible for assisting in the end-to-end application operations delivery with technical, functional, master data management and workflow skills, this includes security and compliance, and this includes proper onboarding of projects.
Key Accountabilities and Expectations
Extensive hands-on development / maintenance experience in HR ABAP and OO ABAP topics/products. Strong understanding of SAP HCM functional aspects (OM, PA, Time, Payroll, etc.) is required. Perform as a technical integration specialist between applications, particularly integrations with monitoring tools and integrations across applications and platforms To rapidly develop technical and functional expertise in the assigned topics and quickly become independent in being able to provide support for the same. Helping other colleagues to also achieve the same and contribute to further building the team capabilities. Being able to rapidly also get into additional related topic areas to develop a wide coverage of topics with also the ability to get deep into the technical aspects. Providing technical support and analysis related to the application landscapes to the natural teams and businesses. Being able to perform well in a DevOps setup with ability to interact and collaborate effectively and efficiently with other teams/stakeholders. Handling incidents, problems, changes, and escalations in line with business SLA. Providing fast and reliable technical support/guidance as needed. Executing IRM controls in a structured and reliable manner. Identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Developing a thorough technical knowledge of the portfolio applications.
